Forging New Paths in Education: Strategic Dialogue with Qatar
A meeting took place at the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan between Minister Hilola Umarova and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Uzbekistan, Hassan Hamza Hashim. The meeting discussed developing projects of mutual cooperation in education and plans to attract international grant projects.
The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in education. In particular, opportunities for exchanging experiences and knowledge were discussed, as well as issues of introducing advanced educational technologies and methodologies. Confidence was also expressed that joint efforts would significantly improve the quality of education and create conditions for the comprehensive development of students in both countries.
One of the key issues discussed was attracting international grant projects. The parties explored strategic directions for attracting additional resources from international organizations and funds. It was emphasized that participation in such projects would not only improve the material and technical base of educational institutions but also enhance the qualifications of educators and administrators in the education system.
Parties also discussed future plans and opportunities for expanding cooperation. Proposals for creating joint educational programs and exchanging students and teachers were considered.
Special attention during the meeting was given to the upcoming Central Asian Education Forum scheduled to take place in Tashkent in October of this year. Minister Hilola Umarova emphasized that the Forum would be an important platform for exchanging experiences and discussing current issues in education development in the region. Qatar’s participation in the forum would allow the country to showcase its achievements and share best practices with other participants.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar in education would successfully develop and yield significant results. Concrete steps were outlined for implementing joint projects and attracting international partners, contributing to the development of the education system in both countries.
