1. What is the Central Asia Universities Forum?

Central Asia Universities Forum (CAUF) is aimed to be the biggest regional education event for constructive interaction and discussion with education stakeholders focusing on preschool, school and higher education of the region.

CAUF is expected to host 1,500 participants, bringing together 30 ministers of education, over 500 internationally reputed academics, researchers, policymakers, and other notable members of the education community from across Central Asia and the world.

CAUF is divided into two sections: THE Central Asia Universities Forum 2024 and Central Asia Educators Symposium 2024.

THE Central Asia Universities Forum 2024 is the inaugural regional higher education event arranged by Times Higher Education in a partnership with New Uzbekistan University.



2. What date does CAUF start?

The event officially begins on October 16th, 2024.

The CAUF will also feature pre-forum activities on October 15, including the visits to educational and cultural landmarks in Tashkent. Post-forum activities on October 17 will include excursions to the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Sity in Samarkand.

Travel and accommodation are not included in the registration fee and will need to be booked separately.
