Central Asia Universities Forum

Central Asia historically has been a center of culture, science, and education, connecting East and West at the heart of the Ancient Silk Road. It is a unique region, and homeland to many outstanding scholars such as Al-Khwarizmi, Abu Rayhan Biruni, Avicenna, and Mirzo Ulugh Beg, who have made significant contributions to world science.

Today, more than 30 million young people are building their futures in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan in an era of globalization marked by unprecedented technological advances and unique challenges. Finding comprehensive solutions to these challenges requires interdisciplinary scientific collaboration and collective efforts at both the regional and global levels.

New Uzbekistan University, in collaboration with Times Higher Education, is hosting the inaugural Central Asia Universities Forum 2024. This event will become a real platform for dialogue between university leaders and decision makers from the region and beyond.

The forum will bring together representatives from academia, industry, and the public sector from all around the world.

The first Central Asia Universities Forum is a space for cooperation between education stakeholders who are ready for joint development.
