Acknowledgement Policy

When using official information and citing quotes from Forum participants, the finished materials must contain a reference to the Central Asia Universities Forum and the source of the information, or a link to the Forum’s website if the information is taken from the website. Making any changes, additions, or distortions to the copied (quoted) information is not allowed.

- Print media / radio — any programme or interview recorded on the territory of the Central Asia Universities Forum must contain a reference to the Central Asia Universities Forum (text, emblem or logo).

- Television — any programme or interview recorded on the territory of the Central Asia Universities Forum must contain a reference to the Central Asia Universities Forum (text, emblem or logo).

- Internet publication — any article or interview prepared while working at or upon conclusion of the Central Asia Universities Forum must contain a reference to the Central Asia Universities Forum (text, emblem or logo).

- Photos — any published photo must contain a reference to the Central Asia Universities Forum on the image or as a caption (text, emblem or logo).

- Blogs / social media — when using official information obtained as part of the Central Asia Universities Forum and citing quotes by its participants (Forum participants must personally consent to being quoted), the finished materials published online (blogs, social media, etc.) must contain accurate facts.

The CAUF organizers are not responsible for the quotes of participants in the blogosphere or social media. The Central Asia Universities Forum gives notice that it is entitled to use the text of articles, photos, and video materials obtained or created by media members during the preparations for the Central Asia Universities Forum and during the Forum events with a reference to the authors of such materials.
